 WRITING. Kia Ora Bloggers, Today I will be sharing my writing work.

For my writing work I did a procedural  text about how to play Rugby League. First I had to give the text a title. Then I had to write down what we needed and the goal of the game. After that we had to write down the rules of the game and then the steps.  The activity was very fun to do I really liked doing my plan becuase then I knew what to do in my real procedural text.

This is how you play Rugby league:

What you need: For Rugby league you need to have Rugby boots, a mouthguard to protect your teeth, a Rugby ball and a head gear if you want.

Goal: Score as many tries as you can for your team and tackle the other team so they don’t score and most importantly win THE GAME!

Rule 1: make sure you play fair.

Rule 2: have good sportsmanship.

Rule 3: have a good game

1. Choose a captain for each team and then flip a coin heads or tails.

2. Then one team will either receive or kick the ball.

3. Then You will have to run with the ball or tackle if you have the ball.

4. If you want to get past the other team from tackling you you have to use your sidestep with your footwork. Some people are good at it and some people are not.

5. Hold the ball with two hands and don’t drop it. 

6. Run it straight and bump people off. 

7. MAKE SURE YOU WIN!!!

STEM week Waikowhai Student Led Toolkits!

STEM WEEK

Science Technology Engineering Mathematics 

|Morena bloggers, last Friday our school had our own student led toolkits!

On that day there would be two presenters and they would present their presentation to other students in the middle and senior school. There was 24 presenters around the whole school and there was 12 presentation at once. 

First I went to Google Slide Animation and had to follow there instructions, so we had to make an animation on goggle slides. Slide animation taught me how to create my own animations about anything for example a sport. 

Meanwhile... Next I went to Webcam Toy, Webcam Toy is an app that you take photos with different backrounds that look really cool and useful. some of the cool filters were rose wich had a red backround and also thermal which can make your body white and the backround black.

Music Lab! Next I went to music lab which was my last place to go. During that session I got to make my own creative beats on  music lab. I really enjoyed making my own beats and would like to visit the app more often.
