Narrative writing.

For writing this week we had to create a Fantansy  Text based on a morphed animal we created. My animal is called a Gorllird and his name is Tonkins. It's called a Gorillid because it is a Gorilla and a bird in one.

Heres my fantasy story:

Tonkins Saves The Day

Once upon a time, there was a Gorillird named Tonkins who didn’t know that he had a super power or that there were other Gorillirds. It was early in the morning and he had just woken up. He did his normal morning routine, brushing his teeth, eating breakfast and then he would explore the forest. While he was  exploring  the forest, his muscles were becoming bigger and stronger every single day.

Tonkins muscles were getting out of control! It was like he was turning into the hulk! He finally calmed down but he was too scared that people would think he was a monster, so he decided to go back home. He ran as fast as he could so nobody would see him. But when he was about to arrive home he could hear people who sounded just like him and were shouting out for help so he went to have a look.

As Tonkins arrived, he was shocked to see other Gorillirds just like him. He saw them getting abducted by aliens! He tried to jump up onto the UFO and he ended up jumping so high and discovered that he has another Super power. He then realised he could use his powers to bring down the UFO. He used all of his strength to come down hard onto the UFO which damaged it and then caused it to crash.  Tonkins saved the day and rescued the other Gorillirds from the aliens. The end By Noah

Today for writing I had to research about fables and these are the 3 thing I found:

• Fables are fiction
• Fables are short and have few characters,
• Characters are often animals with human attributes.

They also have a moral of the story

NRL Grand Final Winners

Whats up bloggers!

Sorry to keep you hanging..... I forgot to update you all on who won the NRL this year!

Drum roll......

THE MIGHTY PENRITH PANTHERS!!!

            

Final Score: 14-12

My Prediction was: 20-12 so i was pretty close! Just 1 converted try in it.

Its been so boring without any NRL on anymore while we are in lockdown. I wish it was on all year long. I also miss playing sports. Its my favourite thing to do... so its very strange not to be playing summer sport. 

I cant wait for NRL 2022.

School Holidays

What's up bloggers in today's blog it will be about I did in the School holidays.

During my school holidays I went for a big walk up One Tree Hilll with my Aunty, Uncle and 4 cousins and it was awesome looking at the view together. My uncle said the goal was to not stop until we got to the top and guess what we all did it! When we got to the top it was very windy because we so high up. While we were at the top of One Tree Hill we played a game to see who could spot any other moutains that people could walk up, we spotted Mt Roskill and Mt Wellington and a few others.

I have also been watching movies and playing Fortnite on my Xbox with my friends. My favourite movie that I watched during lockdown is a movie called rebound, it is about a college basketball coach who was forced to coach a junior high basketball team, that were not doing well. 

I enjoy watching alot of sports movies as sports is one of my favourite subjects. Please let me know if you have any other suggestions on sports movies I could watch in the future.

NRL Grand Final Update!!

What's up bloggers, welcome back

Its GRAND FINAL WEEK in the NRL!!

Last week I predicted Rabbitohs and Storm to win even though I wanted Manly or Panthers.

So who made it............

The Grand Final 2021 will be between Rabbitohs and Panthers! 

Im picking the Penrith Panthers to win 20-12.

Nathan Cleary is the captain of Penrith Panthers and he was named the Half Back of the year (Number 7) for 2021. There were also 5 other panthers named in the team of the year so I think they will be the stronger side. This is also the 2nd year in a row the Panthers have made the Grand Final. Last year they lost to the Storm.

Do you guys have any predictions???

Character Profile

Whats up bloggers! Its the end of another week in lockdown. 

This week in Te Waka Ako we have been busy doing lots of home learning.

I really enjoyed doing this task because I could choose ratings and write about his story from what I learnt in the video. If he was a real life character, I would watch out for him because he is tough as! Look at his strength rating...wow!
